Sadly, we get so busy in everyday life, that this is only the second or third time the kids have used Dad's car shirt since we gave it to him last Christmas. It feels so good when we do slow down enough to just play together at home.
Today was the Sunday session of General Conference. We both had questions on our minds which we were searching answers for as we listened to our Prophet, Apostles, and General Authorities speak. We received a lot of directions this weekend. Neil and I get to take turns attending the sessions live in Salt Lake while the other stays home or on Temple Square with the Kids. We also always look forward to having lunch with Mom and Dad in the cafeteria. It is an opportunity to be with them, but it is also fun for Mom and Dad to introduce their children and grandchildren to all their friends there. And, an update about our cute kids just wouldn't be complete without a picture of our sweet little bathing beauty! She LOVES bath time, but sadly, it is always short lived, because someone else is always demanding my time. I hope she doesn't resent being the third (neglected) child forever. It makes me feel so guilty sometimes when I get to the end of the day and realize poor Kathryn was just along for the ride all day long. And now she is talking! It is ironic that after all the time mothers spend nurturing and loving their babies, their first word is always, "Dada." Kathryn is the apple of her Daddy's eye though! She gets so excited when he comes home from work every day. She crawls right to him and hangs on his leg until he picks her up. What a sweetheart!
