Our sweet baby Kathryn turned one year old two days after Christmas. She is our little angel. So peaceful, easy-going, and always happy.
We celebrated with banana cake since this girl can't seem to get enough of her favorite fruity food. She loved it, but the rest of us thought it turned out a bit like a brick. That's what I get for substituting half the butter for applesauce...sometimes I just can't help it!
In just days since she has become a one-year-old, she has discovered small spaces she never before noticed, drawers which she never knew she could unload, and cupboard after cupboard with treasures for her to unearth.
If she wasn't so adorable, I might get a little frustrated at the constant, clutter and mess that follows her around.
Kathryn LOVED all the extra time she got with Daddy during his Christmas time-off. She was his helper taking down all the Christmas decorations.
We went out with some friends the other night and came home to find her totally asleep on the floor. The sitter said she just had to run to the bathroom for a minute and left her here playing with that red ball, pictured. When she came out, she found her and didn't have the heart to move her. Believe it or not, her naps have improved with age, and she has a very consistent bed time which, apparently, is not very flexible. We just love our little sweetheart, Kathryn Hope!
