Grace's Pre-school Program and Graduation

 

Grace's Top Five Favorite things about Pre-school (in her own words):

 1. Sitting at the table and doing my work. And I be quiet because Miss Char doesn't like anyone to talk. Only Faith talks to me... and sometimes we get in trouble. But I don't get in trouble.

2. Faith always plays princesses with me at recess. She says, "Hey, wanna play with me?"

3. Faith and sometimes Ruby always sits by me on the rug. We "criss-cross applesauce" and be quiet and listen to a story.

4. I always play with everybody and draw cards for them on their birthdays.

5. I always sing with Miss Kelly at music time. The shaking song when you say, "Shay ya ya ya" is my favorite.

The program was too cute. They sang and danced to songs.

 They recited poems and nursery rhymes using sign language.

 The class also did a few cute skits.

 Grace really loved and respected her teacher, Miss Char. She still asks to color pictures for her.

  These two had a great time together at school this year.

We were so glad Grace got to go to Miss Char's school this year. She is now well prepared for Kindergarten. She knows all the sounds of the alphabet and how to write all the letters and her name. It was incredible to watch how quickly she learned. She memorized lots of poems and songs, made lots of friends, and learned classroom manners. Her teacher raved about how well she colored in the lines. We might have an aspiring artist on our hands!
