Rebekah and Jesse had a beautiful wedding and festivities in the month of August. The celebrating began at our house with a pre-wedding dinner where both families got to meet. On Saturday, we drove to Logan for Bekah's sealing. Afterwards, Neil and I took the kids and my Grandparents out to lunch. We drove back home and stayed long enough to gather our things for the reception in Provo that night. She had lots of guests and we had fun socializing with the ones we knew. One special guest was my younger brother, Kaleb (aka, Elder Reichert). He is serving his mission in the Provo, Utah Mission and his President gave him permission to come for a while. I will admit, it was a little odd seeing him while his is out on his mission. I wasn't sure if I should shake his hand or give him a hug. He looked great, however, and his next letter home after that night proved that he was inspired and motivated by seeing his family. Overall, it was a busy, exhausting day, but it was so fun to be the older sister, observing my little sister's happy day. She glowed all night long.
Two weeks after the wedding, my parents hosted a reception in Wyoming. Bekah chose to have a ring ceremony with a few close friends and family before the reception began. Kade attempted to act as a ring bearer--he got a little distracted and threw the pillow into the air, sending the rings into the grass. Luckily, Bekah acted quick enough to find the rings and continue walking down the aisle. Grace was the flower girl and was just as cute as a button, tossing white petals in front of her Aunt Bekah.
