Growing

The Andersen household is growing up! We are happy to have had a successful garden this year. Our sunflowers added a lot of personality to the back yard and to the neighbors pool area. We ate zucchini in every form during the months of May and June and we still have a freezer full of it. The tomatoes grew so big and tall that they reached the top of our wall. Arizona must be the perfect climate for growing tomatoes, because we got a huge crop this year. I left for a trip to Wyoming right at their peak harvest time, so Neil bottled about 40 quart jars all by himself while I was gone! What a guy!
The kids aren't quite as tall as our sunflowers, but they are growing up too. Kade has almost outgrown his bed, and he eats everything we put on his plate. Grace survives on crackers, fruit and air, yet she still manages to learn and function just the same. Both kids enjoy playing together in the playroom. They also get a kick out of splashing and playing in the pool in the back yard.
