Grace knows the sounds that almost every animal makes from Antelopes to Zebra's, so she got a kick out of seeing real-life animals that she had only ever learned about in books or TV. The zoo was really pretty, and provided a lot of walking and talking time with my parents and Kaleb.
Uncle Kaleb, and the rest of us, had fun pointing out all the different animals to Grace, and then listening to her imitate their noises.
"Monkey--ooo, ooo!"
'L' is for 'Lion'. "Roooaaar!" (And 'N' is for 'Nap' according to Kade)
Mommy's germaphobe alarms were going nuts over this one. I tried to act like it wasn't bothering me that Grace was petting every goat, sheep, and cow in the joint. As a result, Grace got mysteriously sick with tummy issues the next few days after the zoo.
