It still baffles me that September in Mesa is hotter than the summers in Utah and Wyoming. For most of the month it has been above 100 degrees. Gracie took advantage of the warm weather by swimming in her baby pool this afternoon. I threw her favorite squirt toys in the pool and started filling it with water. Grace just couldn't take the suspense anymore, so she started to crawl in the pool by herself with all of her clothes on. Rather than batting her away, I just stripped her down and let her play in the pool the way she was. She laughed and squealed and had a great time.

Dang do i miss that kid. There's this lady in my ward who's the wife of one of the counselors and she has a little baby girl. she reminds me of gracie a little and how much i miss baby sitting her in the mornings and just playing with her, or rocking her to sleep. and now i won't be able to do that with your new one. lame! but i'll still love him just the same! as soon as i get to meet it. maybe between winter semester and spring semester i'll be able to take a roadie and meet him.
