Valentine's Day was sweet this year. It began with a drive to the airport to pick up Neil from a business trip in Arizona. Just for the record, driving in the snow in Utah stresses me out.
We spent the rest of the day making a yummy dinner for Grandma and Grandpa Bennion. Neil and I made the same dinner that he 'made' for me when he proposed: Chicken roll-ups, strawberry jello, steamed carrots, and rice pilaf with pazookies for dessert. I sent Neil out for an emergency ingredient we were missing, and he came home with a dozen roses. What a sweetheart! The night ended with a rousing game of Chinese Checkers with Grandma and Grandpa and a cheesy chick flick.
