General Conference Weekend and Kade's 2nd Birthday

My SWEET little boy turned TWO YEARS OLD over General Conference weekend. He was lucky to have it fall then, because five of his cousins, Uncle Nate and Aunt Andrea, Uncle Spencer, Aunt Emily, and Grandma and Grandpa Andersen were in town. Also, Uncle Matt and Uncle James' family who are in Utah, celebrated with us. Most all of those people stayed at our house for the weekend. We had SO MUCH FUN together! The family all arrived the night before Conference.

On Saturday of Conference, all the women and children gathered at our house during the Priesthood session. We took the kids to play at the park down the street, ate dinner, and had a little party for Kade.

Can I just say that little boys are SO EASY to please? The basketball birthday cake, baseball and bat, BYU cap, fun dinner place mats, sidewalk chalk, and play tool set made him so happy. He has been totally content with each of those things for the last two weeks since receiving them as gifts.
He even helped me bake his cake the day before his party. He's my sweet little helper!
Uncle Spencer helped provide entertainment with candid photos on his iPhone.
Earlier in the day, we got to eat lunch with Grandma and Grandpa between sessions of Conference. It was such a PERFECT day!

Uncle Spencer got to stay with us a few days after Conference ended. We spent an afternoon together, touring Temple Square. We were glad to sneak in some extra time with him!
Kade was such an angel that day. He was completely obedient and totally happy to be with Spencer.
Grace may or may not have picked this flower out of a bed at Temple Square...
