Thanksgiving in Wyoming was our first road trip with Grace, and she did marvelously! We stopped more for Neil and me than we did for her fussing. She cried for a total of just 20 minutes the whole way. What lucky parents we are! The morning after we arrived, Dad took Neil hunting for pheasants. Neil said they hiked "15 miles" (Dad said it was only 6 or 7) and only saw one bird. Neil is getting the hang of hunting. Dad says his good hand-eye coordination and natural athletic abilities make it easy for him. Once he learns to take the safety off, he'll be a real pro!
Grace is the first and only grandchild on my parents and both grandparents sides. She was the main attraction for everyone who came to my parents home. She is certainly fulfilling the expectation we have for her to unify our family. The picture below is of four generations: Nana Reichert, Dad Reichert, Megan Andersen, and Grace Andersen.
Grandpa Reichert, along with everyone else in the family, took advantage of any opportunity to snuggle with Grace. I caught my siblings and parents checking on her atleast 10 times during each of her naps.
We had a mini Christmas while we were in Wyoming, because my brother Josh along with Neil and

We love baby Grace so much. Ty always talks about her. AND we LOVE the pic of Neil going hunting-classic! Congrats again Kaleb- we are so excited for you, and we'll keep you and Josh in our prayers!
Grace is so cute. It's fun having the first grandchild on one side and having lots of cousing on the other. That's how Makenzie was, too. Thanks for the invite to your blog. It will be fun to keep up with your fam!
